Lunites vs Astrite: What's the Difference?

This trips up a lot of new Rovers. Lunites are the paid currency you buy with real money. Astrite is what you actually spend on convenes, and you also earn it through gameplay. Lunites convert to Astrite one for one.

The reason the distinction matters: some things in the shop — supply packs among them — are paid for in Lunites directly, without converting first. So converting your whole balance the moment it lands is not always the right call.

Is the Lunite Subscription Worth It?

The Lunite Subscription — what most players call the WuWa monthly pass — pays out 300 Lunites the moment it activates, then 90 Astrite every day for 30 days. That is 2,700 Astrite on top of the initial 300 Lunites, for the price of a small Lunite pack.

Two things worth knowing before you buy it. The daily 90 Astrite have to be claimed by opening the game, so a week away means a week of Astrite lost. And multiple subscriptions stack in duration rather than in rate: buying three extends the timer, it does not pay 270 a day.

If you log in most days, it is the best value per dollar in the game. If you play in bursts around banners, a straight Lunite pack gets you spendable currency immediately instead of trickling in over a month. Plenty of Rovers do both — the subscription for the daily accumulation, Lunites when a banner they want shows up.

What You Can Spend It On

Astrite goes toward Radiant Tide for the limited Resonator banners and Forging Tide for weapon banners, plus Waveplate refills when you are farming for Echoes or upgrade materials.
