How to Redeem Honkai: Star Rail Codes
If you play on iOS, the website is your only option. The Redemption Code entry does not appear in the iOS build of the game — a detail that sends a lot of players hunting through menus that will never have the button.
Through the website (works on every platform)
- Open the official Honkai: Star Rail redemption page — or tap a code in the table above, which fills it in for you.
- Sign in with your HoYoverse account.
- Select your server region and character nickname.
- Submit the code, then collect the rewards from your in-game mailbox.
Inside the game (Android and PC only)
- Open the phone menu.
- Tap the three-dot icon next to your Trailblazer profile.
- Select Redemption Code and enter the code.
- Collect the rewards from your mailbox.
Your mailbox unlocks during the mission A Moment of Peace. Before that point, redemption will not work regardless of whether the code is valid. Rewards also expire from the mailbox after a while, so claim rather than hoard.
Why Your Code Is Not Working
- It expired. The most common answer. Livestream codes typically last 24 to 48 hours.
- Wrong server region. Codes are partitioned by server — America, Europe, Asia and TW/HK/MO. A code issued for one region will not redeem on another.
- The global limit was reached. Some codes cap at a fixed number of total redemptions. Once that fills, they stop working even before the expiry date.
- You already used it. One redemption per account, permanently.
- Your mailbox is not unlocked yet. Complete A Moment of Peace first.
- You are on iOS and looking in-game. The button is not there. Use the website.
- Typo. Codes are case-sensitive — tapping the links above avoids this entirely.
If a code fails right after a version update, the redemption service itself is sometimes unstable. Wait a few hours and retry before assuming the code is dead.
When New Codes Drop
- Version preview livestreams, every six weeks. Three codes, usually 100 Stellar Jade each. The largest reliable drop, and the shortest-lived — they close within a day or two.
- Version launches. Smaller codes tied to a patch going live.
- Collaborations and milestones. The Fate collab and anniversary events have both produced codes.
- Maintenance compensation. Not a code, but Stellar Jade sent directly to your mailbox after downtime. Check it after every update.
Version 4.4 runs until 26 August, so the 4.5 preview stream is the next event worth watching live. Bookmark this page and we will update the table when that batch lands.
How Far Does Free Stellar Jade Actually Go?
Worth doing the arithmetic before planning around codes. A Warp costs 160 Stellar Jade, and the hard pity for a 5-star sits at 90 Warps — roughly 14,400 Stellar Jade for one guaranteed pull, and the 50/50 means you might need that twice for a specific character.
Every code on this page combined comes to a few hundred Stellar Jade. That is two or three Warps. Codes supplement your regular income; they are not a route to a specific character, and any site suggesting otherwise is selling something.
Free sources that actually add up
- Daily Training — the steady baseline, and over a month it far outpaces codes
- Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow — up to 800 Stellar Jade each per cycle, the largest free income by a wide margin
- Simulated Universe weekly rewards — reliable and quick once you have a stable team
- Events and Trailblaze Missions — the biggest one-off chunks
- Exploration and achievements — finite, but substantial if you have not cleared them
- System mail — maintenance compensation and official giveaways land here
Stellar Jade vs Oneiric Shard: What You Actually Buy
This trips up new Trailblazers, and it matters when comparing top-up options.
- Stellar Jade is what you spend on Warps. You earn it free from codes, Daily Training, events and endgame modes.
- Oneiric Shard is the paid currency. It is what a top-up actually delivers, and it converts into Stellar Jade in-game.
- Anything advertising a direct Stellar Jade purchase is describing it loosely — Stellar Jade itself is not sold.
The Express Supply Pass is the efficiency pick
If you log in most days, the Express Supply Pass returns more per dollar than any Oneiric Shard bundle. It grants Shards immediately, then Stellar Jade daily for the duration. Two caveats worth knowing: daily Jade you miss by not logging in is not refunded, and buying a second pass extends the duration rather than doubling the daily payout. If you play a few times a month, it stops being a bargain.
The first-purchase double bonus resets
Unlike most games, HoYoverse periodically resets the first-time bonus on Oneiric Shard bundles — the most recent confirmed reset came with Version 4.2 in April. Check the Oneiric Pouch in-game to see which bundles still show a double bonus on your account. Unused bonuses from before a reset do not stack with the refreshed one, so there is no benefit to hoarding them.
UID top-up vs login top-up
HoYoverse runs an official Top-Up Centre that takes your UID and server with no login involved, billed at regional list price. KeyGold currently offers login top-up for Honkai: Star Rail — the purchase is completed from inside your account, which is how we source at better regional pricing and price below the game client. Stating it plainly: this method does require your HoYoverse email and password. If you would rather not share a login, the official Top-Up Centre and the in-game shop both avoid it at list price, which is a perfectly reasonable choice.
If you do order a login top-up
- Watch your email for the first 30 minutes. HoYoverse often sends a verification code when an account is accessed from a new device — waiting on that code is the most common cause of a delayed order.
- Change your password once the order lands. Thirty seconds, and it closes the loop.
- Use a password unique to HoYoverse. If it is not shared with your email or bank, the worst case stays contained.
- Check your login history afterwards. HoYoverse account settings show recent sign-ins.
Delivery is typically 5 to 30 minutes after payment clears. KeyGold operates as KEY GOLD PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore, with 24/7 support that can trace an order by its number. Current pricing for every tier is on the Oneiric Shard packs page, or you can top up Honkai: Star Rail directly.

Honkai: Star Rail Codes FAQ
Are there new Honkai: Star Rail codes every day?
No. HoYoverse does not release codes daily — they cluster around version preview livestreams every six weeks, patch launches, collaborations and events. The table above shows what is live as of the date at the top of this page.
Are HSR redeem codes free?
Completely. They come from HoYoverse and never cost anything. Any site asking for payment, your login details, or survey completions to unlock a code is a scam.
Why can I not find the Redemption Code option on iPhone?
It does not exist in the iOS build. iOS players have to use the official redemption website — there is no in-game entry to find, no matter how far you scroll the menu.
How long do Honkai: Star Rail codes last?
Regular codes often run for weeks. Livestream codes typically expire within 24 to 48 hours, which is why watching the preview stream live is worth it.
Why does a valid code fail for me?
Most often a server region mismatch — codes are partitioned by region, so a code issued for one server will not redeem on another. The other common causes are expiry, a reached global redemption limit, or a mailbox that has not unlocked yet.
How much Stellar Jade do codes give?
Regular codes are usually 30 to 100 Stellar Jade. Livestream codes are typically 100 each, three per broadcast. A Warp costs 160, so a full month of codes generally works out to two or three pulls.
Do codes ever give Oneiric Shards?
No. Codes give Stellar Jade, Credits, Fuel and materials. Oneiric Shards are the paid currency and only come from purchases, though they convert into Stellar Jade in-game.
Are Stellar Jade generators real?
No. Stellar Jade cannot be generated, and those sites exist to collect account credentials. Legitimate codes only ever come from HoYoverse channels.
