Odette Build Guide: Best Artifacts, Weapons, Teams and Materials

01What Odette Actually Does

Odette's kit revolves around Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers. Her Skill summons a Solo Dance Double that attacks nearby enemies for around 20 seconds. For about six seconds after the first cast, the Skill turns into Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling, and pressing it again adds Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl damage depending on your team.

That double-cast window is the whole character. Miss it and she is a mediocre Cryo applicator; hit it every rotation and she becomes the enabler Stellar teams are built around.

The key thing to understand: most of her value is Stellar Glimmer reaction damage, not raw Cryo damage. Reaction damage scales with ATK, CRIT and Elemental Mastery, not with elemental DMG bonus, and her A4 passive turns her ATK into a team-wide Stellar Glimmer buff. That single fact drives almost every build decision below.

02Odette Materials: Ascension and Talents

Totals below are for Level 90 with all three talents at Level 10. In practice you can skip her Normal Attack (see Talent Priority), which cuts the talent books, enemy drops and Mora needed by about a third.

The Mora is what stalls most builds. Seven million is more than most accounts have on hand, and it is the usual reason a freshly pulled 5-star sits at talent level 1 for weeks. Shivada Jade can also be converted from Dust of Azoth if you are short on a tier.

03Odette Best Artifacts

Artifact sets

The party-wide part of Heart of the Furnace does not stack across multiple wearers, so only one character per team should run it.

Main stats and substats

Substat priority: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG ≥ ATK% > Elemental Mastery > Energy Recharge (only up to your team's requirement). ATK% stays ahead of EM because her A4 passive converts ATK into the team buff.

04Odette Best Weapons

Her signature weapon is not required. Much of her contribution is the party-wide buff rather than her own numbers, so a well-built Finale of the Deep closes most of the gap. If you are choosing where to spend Primogems, her first Constellation is usually worth more than the weapon (see section 9).

05Talent Priority and Energy Recharge

Her summon and the Stellar recast both live on the Skill, so it gets your books first. Raising her to Level 90 is worth about as much as her Burst. Her Normal Attack can stay at level 1: she spends almost no time on field, so Crowns and books there are wasted.

Energy Recharge: many teams skip her Burst entirely. If you use it, plan to Burst every other rotation instead of building enough ER for every rotation. Requirements vary a lot by team, but with her signature weapon you can usually get by with roughly 100–145%.

06Odette Best Teams

In the core team, Sandrone takes the field time and the Stellar-Conduct damage, Yae supplies off-field Electro, Odette enables and buffs the reactions, and Escoffier or Qiqi covers healing. Cyno, Wriothesley and Mizuki cannot trigger their Stellar reaction without Odette, which is a large part of why she matters.

No Sandrone? The free Cryo Traveler is a real option in both the budget Stellar-Conduct line and the Stellar-Swirl team, so Odette is usable on accounts with a thin Snezhnaya roster.

Constellations: C1 adds an extra Stellar damage hit and is usually a better spend than her signature weapon. C2 is her best early Constellation, adding ATK per Marvelous Splendor stack and Elemental RES shred. C6 is her biggest single power spike.
