01What Is Lordrush?
Lordrush is a free-to-play medieval strategy game from Century Games, the studio behind Kingshot and Whiteout Survival. It launched globally on iOS and Android in July 2026 and blends fortress building and tower defense with the alliance-driven 4X systems the studio is known for.
You begin with a ruined keep, gather Bread, Wood, Stone and Iron, raise walls and towers, and hold the line against waves of exiles and rebels. As your Town Center grows, the game opens up into hero recruitment, troop tiers, alliances and Empire vs Empire battles. Whether you search for "Lordrush" or "Lord Rush", it is the same game. Just don't confuse it with Rush Lord, a different tower defense title from another studio whose codes will not work here.

Why Isn't My Lordrush Code Working?
The code has expired
Holiday and limited-batch codes can end within days or even hours.
Typo or wrong capitals
Codes are case-sensitive, so "pumpkin" will fail where "Pumpkin" works. Copy and paste when you can.
Already claimed
Each code works once per character. Alt characters in other Empires need to redeem separately.
Exclusive group or cap reached
Some codes share a group (like the old Brook and Farmer pair), and limited codes stop once their total cap is used.
04Lordrush Gameplay Explained
At its core, Lordrush is about turning a single broken fortress into a stronghold nobody dares to attack. Enemies arrive in waves along set routes, so where you place and upgrade towers matters, while walls slow attackers down and buy your defenses more time.
- Town Center progression: nearly every building, feature and event is gated by your Town Center level, which makes it the main measure of progress.
- Four resources: Bread, Wood, Stone and Iron fuel everything. The Decree system lets you push your city for extra output, at the cost of your residents' mood.
- Heroes with two skill sets: Conquest skills work in combat, while Expedition skills boost your economy and squads. Heroes come in three rarities: Rare, Epic and Mythic.
- Alliances and Empires: each server is called an Empire. Alliances unlock group content such as Bear Hunt, and Empire vs Empire pits whole servers against each other.
- Events: Burst of Life is a 7-day power sprint for new players that awards a permanent Town Center skin, while Hall of Governors and the Fishing Tournament reward planned upgrades and saved items.
05Lordrush Troop Types: Infantry, Lancer and Archer
Every Lordrush army is built from three troop types, each trained in its own camp. You may see Lancers called "Cavalry" in some guides; it is the same troop type.
| Troop | Trained In | Matching Heroes |
|---|---|---|
| Infantry | Infantry Camp | Sebastian, Valky, Bane, Ogg, Rogers, Hera (Gen 2) |
| Lancer | Lancer Camp | Isabelle, Rita, Flint, Azad, Herm, Mortis (Gen 2) |
| Archer | Archer Camp | Porter, Cyprus, Thora, Miko, Hyeri, Sylvie, Jack (Gen 2) |
Each type climbs from the Rookie tier up to tier 10, and you unlock higher tiers by upgrading the matching camp. Late-game players can push further into the Truegold tier. At the same tier, all three types have similar power; the real difference is the resource mix they cost, so check your Bread and Wood stock before a big training batch. Heroes and research boost one specific troop type, so always pair your heroes with the troops they lead, and heal wounded soldiers at the Infirmary instead of retraining them.
06Lordrush Tier List: Gen 1 & Gen 2 Heroes
Like Kingshot, Lordrush releases heroes in generations, and which ones you can get depends on your Empire's age. Every new server starts in Generation 1. Generation 2 heroes begin rolling out once an Empire is roughly 40 days old, so most players on launch-era servers can already work toward Hera, Mortis and Jack.
Generation 2 Heroes (New)
| Hero | Troop | How to Get | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jack | Archer | Hall of Heroes | First real offensive rally archer: big Bear Hunt score boost and strong AoE in Arena and Conquest |
| Hera | Infantry | Hero Roulette | First Mythic infantry that free-to-play players can build; excellent garrison defender and front-row tank |
| Mortis | Lancer | Featured Hero events | Defensive upgrade over Isabelle for garrison leads, but much harder to build |
Gen 2 does not make every launch hero obsolete. Sebastian is still the top infantry rally lead for Bear Hunt, and joiner heroes such as Rita, Hyeri and Miko stay useful for alliance rallies well into later generations.
Generation 1 Heroes
| Hero | Rarity | Troop | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sebastian | Mythic | Infantry | S+ |
| Valky | Mythic | Infantry | S+ |
| Isabelle | Mythic | Lancer | S+ |
| Bane | Epic | Infantry | A+ |
| Cyprus | Epic | Archer | A+ |
| Porter | Mythic | Archer | B+ |
| Rita | Epic | Lancer | B+ |
| Thora | Epic | Archer | B+ |
| Miko | Epic | Archer | B+ |
| Hyeri | Epic | Archer | B+ |
| Flint | Epic | Lancer | B |
| Ogg | Rare | Infantry | B |
| Rogers | Rare | Infantry | B |
| Herm | Rare | Lancer | B |
| Sylvie | Rare | Archer | B |
| Azad | Epic | Lancer | C+ |
Best early main march: Bane (Infantry), Isabelle (Lancer) and Porter (Archer) give you one hero per troop type and are easy to obtain through new-player offers. Once your Empire reaches Gen 2, free-to-play players should start collecting Hera shards from the Hero Roulette to take over the infantry slot, and aim for Jack as the archer upgrade. Bane remains a solid Conquest pick, so don't dismantle him. Rarity is not everything either: a Rare hero with the right Expedition skill can outperform an Epic for economy tasks, so read the skills before spending.
07Lordrush Beginner Tips for Your First Week
Rush your Town Center. When unsure what to upgrade next, check what the next Town Center level needs and unlocks.
Never leave builders or research idle. Queue something before you log off, even a small upgrade.
Plan your resources. Check the cost of your next big upgrade before spending, rather than emptying your storage on whatever is available.
Train all three troop types. A balanced army lets you use whichever heroes and boosts you unlock.
Heal, don't retrain. Keep an eye on Infirmary capacity after big fights.
Join an active alliance early. Help speeds up builds and unlocks group content such as Bear Hunt that you cannot do alone.
Time upgrades for Burst of Life. Finish big upgrades while the 7-day event is live to claim its milestones and permanent skin.
Save speedups for events. Using them during events such as Hall of Governors earns points on top of the progress itself.
Track your Empire's age. Gen 2 heroes arrive around day 40, so avoid pouring premium resources into Gen 1 heroes you plan to replace soon.
Redeem every Lordrush code. Each one takes seconds and adds up to a meaningful head start.
08Lordrush vs Kingshot: What's the Difference?
Both games come from Century Games, and players often describe Lordrush as a close sibling of Kingshot. Hero generations, server-vs-server events and the web gift code page all work in a very similar way. The main differences are in naming and theme, and your Kingshot progress does not carry over.
| Feature | Lordrush | Kingshot |
|---|---|---|
| Server name | Empire | Kingdom |
| Cross-server war | Empire vs Empire | Kingdom vs Kingdom |
| Troop types | Infantry, Lancer, Archer | Infantry, Cavalry, Archer |
| Gift code site | ls-giftcode.centurygame.com | ks-giftcode.centurygame.com |
| Focus | Fortress defense with walls and towers | Kingdom building and conquest |
